Changing .co.uk domain privacy details

As a general rule .co.uk domains are not able to have privacy on their domain, this is administered by Nominet (the .co.uk domain registrar) and something that is beyond Yola's control.

However, Nominet has advised that they appreciate some individuals are concerned about having their personal address published on WHOIS and has responded to these concerns by providing non-trading individuals with an opportunity to opt-out of having their domain registration details displayed in WHOIS. A trading individual is classified as any commercial activity related to the site, whether it is for trade in goods, services or commissions. For more information please see this link.

If you are a non-trading individual, please let us know and we, in turn, will modify the domain name record held by Nominet on your behalf so that your address details are not displayed. Please contact us on the email link below.
