Assigning domains and creating a primary domain

If you have purchased more than one domain on Yola, and you would like both to be published to the same site, follow these steps:

Option 1:

1. In the Sitebuilder of your site, go to Settings > Publishing.
2. Under the "Your Domains" section, you will see a list of your domains.
3. The domains that are available to use will have an Add button. Click this button next to the domain you want to assign to your site.
4. Then, you can click Make Primary next to the domain you wish to have listed in the address bar.

Option 2:

1. Log in to your Yola account.
2. Locate the correct site name.
3. Click Domain settings, located below your site's name.
4. Next to "Add an existing domain" select the domain you wish to assign to your site and click Add.
5. Choose which site you would like the domain assigned to.
6. Click Save.

You will be able to choose which domain is the primary domain and the one the other domain will redirect to.

If you have pointed more than one domain purchased elsewhere to Yola and would like both to be published to the same site, follow these steps:

Option 1:

1. In the Sitebuilder of your site, go to Settings > Publishing.
2. Click Add a domain you registered elsewhere.
3. You will be taken to the Domain page on My Yola.
4. Under "Add a domain you already own", click Want to keep your domain registered with another registrar?
5. Enter your domain name, choose the site you would like to publish it to and click Add.

Option 2:

1. Log in to your Yola account.
2. Click Domains on the top menu bar.
3. Under "Add a domain you already own", click Want to keep your domain registered with another registrar?.
4. Enter your domain name, choose the site you would like to publish it to and click Add.

Once added, you will be able to choose which domain is the primary domain and the one the other domain will redirect to.

Please note that custom domains and hosting are separate. When you buy your first custom domain from Yola you will need to purchase a hosting package. Once you have a hosting package you can purchase as many domains as you like, without having to purchase additional hosting packages.
