Adding a drop-down box

A drop-down box is a menu that normally appears when you hover over or click, the main menu item on a site's navigation. While we do not have a widget that allows you to add a drop-down box to your menus, you can make use of an HTML generator to create the code to do this.

Here are some suggestions you can try.

To get the URL of your Yola page the easiest thing to do is:

  1. Create all your pages.
  2. Publish your site.
  3. Go to your published site and copy the URL from your browser window for each page.

Once you've generated your HTML code and copied it, go to your Sitebuilder and:

  1. Go to Widgets.
  2. Select Popular from the drop-down menu.
  3. Drag and drop an HTML widget onto your page.
  4. Paste the code into the HTML editor.
  5. Click Save.

The drop-down box will appear on your page.

Please note: Because this feature is not something we currently offer, we do not have the resources on hand to guide you through the process of adding it. Please also keep in mind that while the code may work now, we cannot guarantee that it will continue to work in the future. Codes can become obsolete and/or conflict with the enhancements made to provide you with the best Sitebuilder possible.
