As part of its regulations to combat Covid-19, the South African government now requires that all South African websites display a prominent link to the government Covid-19 portal on their home page.
If you have a domain with the suffix .za (.co.za, .org.za, .ac.za) and have a website published to that domain, you need to display a link to this portal on the home page of your site. This applies regardless of the type of site you have, whether it is a business site or a personal blog. The goal is to do our part as South Africans who publish to the web to drive as much traffic as possible to the South African government portal as possible, thereby assisting people in finding potentially life-saving information.
You could use either a text or an image link. An image link is recommended as this is more eye-catching. The URL you need to link to is https://sacoronavirus.co.za/. For more information on how to add links to your site see: Creating picture links
